Coffee County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official booking file, or correct an agency record. Contact the sheriff, police department, court, or corrections office that owns the record.
Where to Ask for a Coffee County Record
The right contact depends on the record and custody stage. The Coffee County Jail line can address current county custody. The Coffee County Sheriff's Office open-records custodian handles existing county booking records and releasable photos. City police departments handle their own incident reports. Courts handle case outcomes.

Neither city posted a police records form, special fee, or named records officer in the reviewed material. Ask City Hall or the department for the custodian.
Emergency danger belongs with 911. The sheriff tip line is 912-383-TIPS, or 912-383-8477. It is for information to law enforcement, not a records-request channel.
Choose the Office That Holds It
These routes answer different questions. A contact message sent to the wrong office can delay a response.
- For a current adult inmate or release question, use the Coffee County Sheriff's Office app direction on the detention-center page, then call the jail.
- For a county booking report or releasable booking photo, use CCSO's open-records page and NextRequest. The site's countywide search page explains the request fields and state response framework.
- For a Douglas, Nicholls, or Broxton incident report, contact the city police agency or city clerk. A city report is not automatically the county jail booking file.
- For a wanted notice or a question about a listed person, use the Most Wanted Fugitives page and the sheriff's published tip and investigation channels. Never approach a listed person.
- For a court charge, amendment, dismissal, plea, verdict, or sentence, use the Georgia Courts e-access directory and the court provider for Coffee State or Superior Court.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search. It is not a county jail roster.
- For federal or immigration detention, use the BOP locator or ICE locator. These systems do not provide a Coffee County mugshot gallery.
What to Include in a Request
Give the custodian enough detail to find one existing record. Include the person's full name, approximate date, arresting agency, location, booking or case number when known, and a preferred electronic delivery method. Ask for the existing booking report and any releasable photograph rather than asking an office to create a new compilation.
If a charge or photo is withheld, ask for the specific legal basis and any releasable portion. Georgia's general response framework can require an initial response within three business days, but production time, redaction, cost, and exemptions vary by record.
